Wildbase
Visual Identity / Graphic design
Formerly the New Zealand Wildlife Health and Welfare Centre, Wildbase was seen by the public as purely a medical facility for sick and injured animals. The brief was to highlight the multiple areas within the centre and celebrate Wildbase as not only a hospital, but a hub with multiple arms, where native wildlife are taken in, rehabilitated and released. The solid perch graphic in the brand mark references a point of landing from which a bird takes off again. An identity for each underlying area of Wildbase was also developed using a different native bird for each unit.
